PU Talent Hunt 2075

Sharing Harmony in New Environment (SHINE) organised first PU Talent Hunt on 11th February 2019, in the hall of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Gaira Patan, Pokhara to explore the talent of Pokhara University centre college students.  Sharing Harmony in New environment (SHINE) is formed under School of Business, Pokhara University.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. Hari Bahadur Khadka, Dean of School of Management Studies at 11:00 am. Dr. Rabindra Ghimire, Director of School of Business was the special guest of the program. Administrative officer of school of Business, Former Miss Pokhara & Miss Kaski Rajani K.C, Director of international Centre at Pokhara University Tek Bahadur Chhetry, Choreographer Man Kumar Shrestha, Singer Shyam Sung Tamang and Director Chandra Jyoti Dhunganan were the judges of the program.

The registration was opened for all the faculty’s students of Centre college, Pokhara University. Participant were from different categories such as dance, singing, art, drama, poetry, caricature, etc.

Kanchan Bhujel of B.Ph won the 1st PU Talent Hunt, Ramila Gharti Magar of BBA was on 2nd position, Asmita Sunar of BBA and Sabnam Gurung of Nursing got the 3rd position whereas the Surakshya Bastola of Nursing and Anil Basaula & team were on 4th position. Program was conducted in association with FSU and Powered by NIC Asia and supported by Intellect Education. There were total 29 participants and 250 audiences. There were 10 volunteers working with 15 Shine committee members. All together there were 300 people who were engaged in the program.

This program helped event management committee to enhance their interpersonal skills and build up harmony among the Pokhara University Centre college’s students. Students got the opportunity to expose their talent and built up their self-confidence.
