Short Courses Completed

• Faculty Development Program (FDP - 2002) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India. IIMA's FDP program is a 4-months program that focuses on the overall development of the teachers and researchers.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM - 2005) from the Maastricht School of Management (MsM), The Netherlands. The MsM's PGDFM is a 3-months executive program designed for mid-career level executives from all around the world.

Job Experience

• Working as an Associate Professor (Financial Management as a major area) at the School of Business, which is under the Faculty of Management Studies, Pokhara University, Nepal for the last 15 years. Involved in teaching Financial Management and Accounting courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.
• Executive and Administrative Work Experiences: Successfully completed a tenure of 4-years as Campus Chief of the School of Business (then Management Campus) of Pokhara University.

Also worked as a member to the:

• Pokhara University Senate.
• Pokhara University Executive Council.
• Administration Supervision and Monitoring Committee.
• Examination Board.
• Currently working as the Chief of Planning and Program Division, on deputation at the office of the Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University.

Training and Seminars

• International Conference on Changing Perspective of Management (10-12 March 2011) which was jointly organized by The Nepalese Academy of Management and KFA Business School, Kathmandu, Nepal.
• Refresher course on Performance Management and People Management which was jointly organized by the Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands and the Netherlands Alumni Association of Nepal in Kathmandu from September 30 to October 11, 2007.
• Two-weeks of training on the Professional Writing organized and conducted jointly by IACER, Katmandu, Nepal and School of Business, Pokhara University.

Involvement in Social Services

• Chairperson of the Campus Management Committee of the Gaurishankar Multiple Campus, Hemja, Kaski, Nepal. This campus is a not-for-profit organization (public campus) and it runs the academic programs in Arts, Education and Management Studies that are affiliated to the Tribhuvan University, Nepal.             
• Life Member (Founder) of the Multiple Social Development Organization (MSDO), a non-profit, non-government, social organization, based in Hemja, Pokhara. MSDO has been focusing on awareness programs such as child education, adult education and several types of health programs. It organizes different programs in collaboration with other similar types of NGOs and INGOs. 
• Member of Advisory Board for many community-based organizations such as Colleges, Schools, Cooperatives and Social Organizations.
